Single module installation

One of the biggest changes about Timberline 2.0 is the single module installation. This module features smart energy management which prioritizes electric for both heat and hot water. It has a bigger footprint, but allows for even simpler installation as it contains the system’s main components all in one place.

The Timberline Module XT includes:

  • Integrated expansion tank
  • 120V 1500W electric element
  • Level switch
  • Integrated continuous hot water heat exchanger

Better control over your heater usage

Timberline 2.0 features a two-loop, and up to five-zone, plumbing system. This gives you even more control over your heat usage by affording the option to heat different parts of your coach only at certain times.

The plumbing system includes automatic summer and winter operations, conveniently creating a seamless year round experience.

How heating zones work:

One benefit of the Timberline 2.0  system is the introduction of multiple heating zones. Each zone has separate heating controls that can be accessed by tapping the zone buttons at the bottom of the display screen. Once a zone is selected, simply tap the heater button and the zone off/on button to activate the heater. You may then use the day and night sliders to determine your preferred temperature for that zone.

As with the original Timberline system, Timberline 2.0’s fans automatically adjust depending on the call for heat. Should you want to control the fan speed yourself, a manual fan option is available for each heating zone.

How to use supplemental electrical heat:

While the heater is running, you have the option to also use supplemental electric heat by selecting the Element button. The 1500 watt 120V electrical element will activate and provide supplemental heat to the coolant.

When both the Heater and Element buttons are selected, the system automatically prioritizes using heat from the electric element. If there is greater heating demand on the system the burner will engage and heat the glycol.

Electric is only available when connected to shore power, unless otherwise specified.
